Easter Brunch

Easter’s almost here! Easter is the embodiment of spring with its pastel colors; pinks, greens, blues, and lavenders — all representative of the awakening of flowers and trees from their long winter slumber. This happens to be one of my favorite times of year since everything is so vibrant in color.

Easter also brings Easter baskets tied with ribbon and stuffed with chocolate bunnies, baby ducks and assorted sweets, all held tight by little boys and girls dressed in their Sunday best. After the mad race to find the most colored eggs, typically it’s off to church and/or Easter brunch!

If you happen to be hosting this year’s Easter brunch Glutenfreeda is here to help. Easter brunch is always a fun menu to prepare (at least in my opinion) since it is the one meal that combines hearty dinner-like entrees with breakfast dishes and even desserts! What could be better? As always, when preparing a bigger meal, such as Easter brunch, make sure that you read through all the recipes first and prepare a game plan. Your game plan should start a day or two ahead of time, outlining when to go grocery shopping, when to prepare those dishes that can be made ahead of time, what can be prepped a day in advance and a very detailed timeline of preparations for Easter day.
