Black & Blue Cobbler is a perfect summer dessert made with blackberries and blueberries. This is quite easy to make and spectacular served with vanilla ice cream.
Black & Blue Cobbler
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Add the berries, 1/3 cup sugar, corn starch, lemon juice and ½ teaspoon cinnamon to a medium bowl and toss with a spoon to combine.
Transfer berry mixture to a 9” glass pie dish.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and lemon zest.
Add cream and stir until mixture is a wet dough. Drop spoonfuls onto berry mixture as thinly as possible.
Combine 2 Tablespoons sugar and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl and blend together. Sprinkle over top of cobbler.
Bake for 35 minutes or until berries are bubbling. Remove from oven and let cool.
When still warm, serve Black & Blue Cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
