During the hectic holiday season it’s good to have a few ‘quick and easy’ recipes that you can pull out of your hat when you don’t feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen but still want a great tasting meal. One of our favorite flavor themes to accomplish this is curry. Curry seasonings paired with almost any poultry, meat, fish or vegetable makes a fantastic meal and can be prepared in about 30 minutes.
Curry seasoning is a combination of several spices and other ingredients including the following; curry paste, curry powder, garlic, ginger, turmeric and sometimes coconut milk.
The five curry based recipes below call for a variety of ingredients that boast of Indian cuisine while featuring their own unique flavors. We’ve even included a recipe for ‘Turkey Curry’, which is one of my favorite ways to use left-over turkey.
