There
is something about a warm bowl of chili on a cold winter day.
Its even better if its after a full day of skiing
or playing in the snow. There are so many different varieties
of chili hot & spicy, mild & comforting, green
or red,
with beans or without, with beef, with poultry or simply vegetarian
the list goes on and on. There are even different things
people serve their chili with onions, sour cream, cilantro,
rice, noodles, tortilla chips, and cornbread just to
name a few. Whatever your fancy, weve got the chili
for you!
Hurricane
Chili
Developed last year to prepare for Hurricane
Isabel, this chili is comfort food at its finest. Slightly
spicy (but certainly not overwhelming), this more traditional
chili consists of red beans and beef along with a great compliment
of chipotle peppers, cumin and cinnamon.
Chicken
Chili For those who dont do beef, this
chicken chili is accompanied by pinto and black beans and
has a nice full-bodied flavor.
Italian
Style Chili This delicious chili consists
of homemade Italian sausage, kidney beans, and red peppers
and is topped off with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese!
Smoky
Pork & Red Bean Chili One of our
favorites! This chili combines red beans, ancho chilis,
chipotle peppers, cinnamon, cayenne & pork shoulder! If
you like a hearty, spicy chili, you cant miss with this
one!
Chili
Verde Slightly unusual, but amazing in flavor.
This green chili packs a good punch. This chili takes advantage
of the sweet, smoky flavor of roasted chilis and peppers
and combines them with tomatillos, spinach, and pork shoulder.
It all comes together to make an awesome chili that everyone
will remember!
