10 Ingredients or Less Meals
Often what contributes to the expense of a meal is the lengthy list of ingredients. There are many delicious recipes that can be made with just a few simple but delicious ingredients. In fact, often you will find that the less complex a recipe the more opportunity those few ingredients have to stand out in taste and texture. This month we’d like to highlight some of our favorite recipes that require 10 ingredients or less (with the exception of basics like salt, pepper and olive oil – hopefully you always have those on hand!). These recipes are either one dish meals or they can be made into a delicious entrée with the addition of some simple sides like roasted potatoes and a steamed veggie.
Roasted Chicken with Lentils (one dish meal)
Roast Chicken with Mustard Sauce and Mixed Root Vegetables (one dish meal)
Stir Fried Ginger Beef (serve with steamed rice)
Fennel Pork Roast (serve with roasted potatoes and steamed green beans)
Beef Stroganoff (serve with steamed rice or gf noodles)
Creamy Fettuccine with Chicken (one dish meal)
Fettuccine with Spinach & Feta (one dish meal)
