Chutney, the Secret Ingredient
Have you ever been faced with this predicament? You have unexpected company coming over and you want to make something nice but don’t want to spend a ton of money or don’t have the time to deal with a ton of ingredients in order to create something special? Let me offer a little secret ingredient that will transform any grilled meat or fish into a heavenly treat and all you need is one little bottle: Major Grey’s Mango Chutney. This is such a great topping that packs a load of flavor and will make you look like a culinary hero with virtually no effort. And another great thing is that you can find it in nearly all grocery stores in the sauce aisle.
For the ultra simple recipe that is certainly fit for company, season the meat with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Grill one side, turn the meat over and glaze with the chutney, then continue to grill until cooked through. Top with additional chutney and garnish with Italian parsley for a pretty presentation. It’s that simple – but oh so good!
