To be perfectly honest, I feel kind of awkward right now - my article this month is about the recently released Glutenfreeda’s own burritos and instant oatmeal. I had the amazing opportunity of tasting these products before they hit the shelves and they are absolutely fantastic - I dislike product placement as much as the next girl, but I have to say, Glutenfreeda’s new products are award-winning wonderful!
The burritos, in flavors like Vegetarian Bean & Cheese, Chicken & Cheese, Vegetarian & Dairy Free (Bean, Rice and Tofu) and a Breakfast Burrito, they have an excellent taste, texture and are super convenient for on-the-go eating! Cut off one end of the packaging, pop them into the microwave and a minute and a half later - you’re enjoying a delicious breakfast, lunch or snack .The gluten free flour tortilla has an excellent texture, holds up to microwaving and doesn’t even get soggy! Five stars for sure!
Like the burritos, the instant oatmeal has a fantastic texture, great flavor and is ready in less than a minute. Right now, the three flavors are Maple Raisin, Apple Cinnamon and Banana Maple - all with flax for a healthy dose of Omega-3s! I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved instant oatmeal and I have bemoaned its loss every day since I was diagnosed with Celiac. You can either boil water and add it to the oatmeal or put the whole concoction right in the microwave for a one-step solution. Ready in a minute, it’s perfect for an on-the-go breakfast or something you can easily prepare at the office or school - all you need is a bowl, water and a microwave.
