One Dish Meals

For most of us, the holiday season brings with it an endless amount of preparation, cooking, shopping and getting ready for a house full of family and guests. For many families, this means entertaining out-of-town company for a day or two before the festive event and consequently the search for easy, inexpensive, not to mention gluten-free meals that will satisfy a group of restless relatives. So for just such an occasion, we’ve selected a few delicious one dish meals that will have your company raving about your culinary skills and leave them dreaming in anxious anticipation about the Thanksgiving feast still to come!

Chicken with Chocolate and Prunes is an extraordinary entrée guaranteed to impress even the most discerning palate. The unusual ingredients blend to create a spectacular flavor combination; aromatic and absolutely sensational. This recipe serves four and can be doubled by using two chickens. We recommend free-range chickens for the best results. Serve with Roasted Potatoes and a Salad.

Pork and Cider is the perfect marriage of pork, cider and fresh rosemary. This dish is bursting with flavor and has a special sweetness all its own. This recipe will serve eight very inexpensively. Serve with steamed rice or alone with hot buttered Corn Bread.

Fall Stew is a delicious pork stew with a hint of fresh oranges. Warm and soothing, this stew can be served on its own with gluten-free French Bread, or poured in bowls over rice or gluten-free noodles. This recipe serves four and can be doubled.
