Its
that time of year again. A time for family and friends to
gather around the table and give thanks and enjoy a fabulous
feast fit for a king. Just because you are on a gluten- free
diet should by no means mean that you should have to go without
or just have a plain slice of turkey and some mashed potatoes!
As a chef of Glutenfreeda.com, I always prepare a Thanksgiving
feast a month or so prior to November to develop scrumptious
new recipes for our subscribers. I usually invite several
friends to this pre-holiday feast to help devour all of the
delicious food. This year there were no people at my table
who happened to be gluten-free. Not surprising to me, but
perhaps surprising to some, no one knew or cared that the
meal was gluten-free. All I received was rave reviews and
requests for recipes!
The key to a great gluten-free Thanksgiving
meal is to focus on fresh and wholesome ingredients (beware
of injected turkeys only buy those that are natural,
organic, free-range and/or free from injection solutions)
and by all means dont be afraid to be creative. I invite
you and your family to prepare this amazingly gluten-free
and delicious feast!
This year, revel in the fact that your Thanksgiving
feast is not only gluten-free but absolutely delicious! With
this menu, youll give thanks to being gluten-free (and
so will your guests)!!!
