My salt and pepper hair loves Savonnerie
Gluten-free Shampoo and Conditioner! This is difficult for
me to say out loud because I am still in salt and pepper denial.
When I was younger I had baby soft hair that, as Ive
gotten older, has become intertwined with little silver "barb
wires". For this I blame my father.
Because I do not shop, for the good of others,
I have no input into hair care purchasing decisions. I merely
use whatever shampoo I find in the shower. One day I saw Savonnerie
in the shower and thought, "what the heck?"
The first thing I noticed was the shape
of the bottles, they are normal and very stable; unlike so
many of the upside down bottles Jessica usually buys that
always fall to the bottom of the shower.
The smell is natural and clean, not foofy,
(I am so against foofy I am not even sure I know how to spell
it.) The shampoo lathers as well as most "store bought"
soaps and the conditioner is not too thin and not too thick.
The website tells us that the conditioner has "jojoba
oil" which may, in addition to being fun to say, explain
why my hair feels so good and also why my salt and pepper
hair loves Savonnerie.
As I said earlier, I do not shop so numbers
mean little to me but after looking on the website the price
seemed a little steep, ($7.99 for 8 ounces) BUT then I went
to another very famous "natural" hair care products
website and it compares at over $13.00 a bottle. So the price
is GREAT!!!!
All in all I will be a regular user of Savonnerie.
For readers who like a very clean smelling non-foofy shampoo
and conditioner that makes your hair feel clean and soft and
are looking for natural hair care products that are gluten-free
this product is for you!
