most of you know, each month we pick a gluten-free product
on the market and test it based on taste, texture and availability
— all in an effort to give you, our valued customers,
another opinion on the many gluten-free items out there. Some
products we have tested over the years have been less than
authentic and others have been outstanding! As part of our
"Best of Glutenfreeda" issue we’d like to highlight
those products that ‘wowed’ us. We think you’ll
agree as well.

Mary’s
Gone Crackers: Overall Score (5 stars)  |

| We found these crackers
to be crunchy and full of flavor. The crackers are a dark
brown color, small in size and habit-forming! They are
a little small to pair with meats or cheese, but they
are a fabulous stand alone snack served at any occasion.
As a testimonial to their great taste, we had every flavor
of Mary's Gone Crackers available for our product test.
When we went to collect them for the testing, they were
gone! After employee and family interrogations, we discovered
that my husband, gluten tolerant, ate them all! We happily
repurchased them for this feature. |
Ruby Range
Chocolate Truffle Cake: Overall Score (4.5 stars)  |

| All in all, we really
enjoyed this cake mix. If you are looking to simplify
your baking with a gluten-free mix this is a great one
to try. These mixes are healthy for celiac's diabetics
and autistics due to the unique addition of mesquite meal
and teff flour. Cookie and cakes mixes are sweetened with
unrefined sugar, making it safe for most with sugar sensitivities.

Overall we were very impressed with all three cake
mixes. They are the best gluten-free cake mixes we have
tasted. These cakes are the answer to anyone who does
not want to bake from scratch but wants a perfect gluten-free
cake. Two thumbs up to the Dowd and Rogers company!

These are the best gluten-free crackers we’ve
tasted so far! The combination of rice flour and nuts
produces a delicious cracker that is great eaten alone,
or with any combination of toppings. We served these
to our non-gluten intolerant company with rave reviews.
