I first tasted Bard’s beer several years ago while attending a gluten-free educational conference in Chicago. Bard’s beer was served with gluten-free pizza at the cocktail party one evening after the conference. Bard’s was the first gluten-free beer that I was aware of at the time and the prospect of enjoying a ‘beer and pizza’ was thrilling! As I recall, the pizza was a little, how should I say, gluten-free tasting, but the beer was, well, beer!
Bard’s beer immediately reminded me of several micro brews I used to enjoy prior to being diagnosed with Celiac disease. Full flavored, Bard’s is not only a great gluten-free beer, but a great beer!
