Product Tested: Pamela’s Products — Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies & Ginger Mini Snapz

Taste
The Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies are a little on the sweet side but have a nice well-rounded flavor all in all. The Ginger Mini Snapz are very flavorful and slightly salty.

Texture
The Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies are crisp little cookies — much like the ones you find in little snack bags marketed to kids. The Ginger Mini Snapz are a little more crisp than the Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies and have a very slight gritty texture (but certainly not too much to deter you from eating them).

Storage
These cookies come in a re-sealable 7 oz bag (probably about 35 cookies to a bag). Store in a cool dry place and I’m sure they will last for a long time (unopened).

We found this product at Vitamin Cottage. Pamela’s Products are widely distributed in natural food stores and grocery stores throughout the U.S., Canada and other countries. You can also purchase them on-line at Gluten Solutions and Amazon.com Grocery.

Overall Score (3.50)
Personally I prefer homemade cookies but if you are in a hurry or on the road these crisp little cookies will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Manufactured in a facility that also makes products containing peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs and soy.

These cookies remind me of the small little crisp cookies made by companies like Pepperidge Farms Mini Chocolate Chunks or Ginger Snaps. They are crisp little cookies that are maybe slightly bigger than "bite size". The Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies have a nice flavor and I believe that the Ginger Mini Snapz would make a wonderful cookie crust. What I liked about these cookies is there hard crunchy texture — unlike some other gluten-free cookies that are very soft and "cake-like". Pamela’s makes the obvious alternative use suggestions for the Ginger Mini Snaps for a ginger cookie crust and an ice cream topping for the Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies — both I think are great suggestions. All in all a good shelf stable product to keep in the pantry for anytime snacking or to throw into your child’s lunch!
