Robert’s American Gourmet Snacks are a favorite with our family and this new product is no exception! Robert’s American Gourmet produces other gluten-free snacks such as, Veggie Booty, Pirate’s Booty, Fruity Booty, Smart Puffs, Tings and Antique Style Potato Chips. The also produce a wheat variety of Chaos, so don’t get the two mixed up!

Ingredients: Organic Corn, Organic Cornmeal, Safflower Oil, Corn Syrup, Salt, Organic Cheese, (Milk,Salt, Lactic Acid, Enzymes, Disodiom Phosphate, Annatto Paprika), Brown Sugar, Cane Sugar, Whey, Tomato, Onion, Citric Acid, Mustard, Garlic,Yeast, Maltodextrin, Cayenne Powder, Spices, Baking Soda, Lecithin, Natural Flavor. -Certified Organic By PCO-

When I first saw Wheat Free Chaos in the market, I wasn’t sure I would like it as it is a combination of many different types of snacks all mixed up together. Corn chips, a Dorrito type chip, blue corn chips, tings, and even sweetened popcorn make up this very unusual and surprisingly addictive snack. After the first combination bite however, I was hooked! Wheat Free Chaos is aptly named and refreshingly creative.

As gluten-free as this manufacturer is, we found it surprising that they do not label their products gluten-free. The following is their explanation:

"All of our snacks except for CHAOS and Honey Wheat Pretzels are Gluten Free (There is a Gluten and Wheat free version of the Chaos). Since gluten is used on other snacks at the plant, we do not put it on our bags. They run our snacks first, thoroughly clean the machines between runs, and train all the employees on allergen control to reduce the possibility of cross contamination."
