This
rice pasta is wheat-free, gluten- free, cholesterol-free, fat-free,
easy to digest, source of fiber, kosher certified, and certified
organic by Organic crop Improvement Association, OCIA (for organic
items). Not only is this pasta free of gluten but it also contains
no corn, soy, nuts, eggs, meat or dairy.
Ingredients:
Stone ground brown rice, rice bran & water.

This pasta is surprisingly tasty considering the ingredients. The taste is
much like that of the wheat pastas. |

Unlike many other rice pastas it holds its shape well during the
cooking process and actually will cook to "al dente". The color is
not as yellow as traditional wheat pasta but it is very close when cooked. |

Of course this pasta keeps very well in a pantry uncooked and it also keeps
for several days after cooking, covered in the refrigerator. Just re-heat in
the microwave for great leftovers. |

Best of all, this pasta is not only readily available in many grocery stores
and especially in specialty food stores, but they have a wide variety of shapes.
We have easily found Tinkyada lasagna, penne, spiral, fettucine, linguini, and
spaghetti among others. |

We rank Tinkyada among one of our favorite gluten-free pastas. One of the best
things about it is that you can easily serve this to non-gluten intolerant people
and undoubtedly they will not know the difference!
