Test Kitchen #1 Review:

We prepared a basic lasagne recipe and found that the noodles behaved nearly identical to traditional ‘gluten’ pastas. Dr. Shars lasagne noodles are shaped into 4" squares. They took approximately 10 minutes to cook to al dente. The resulting noodles were excellent in both texture and taste. Unlike the other rice and corn pastas available on the market they held together nicely and resisted the temptation to disintegrate. Testing further, we warmed up the left-over lasagne the next day and the noodles remained firm and intact. Overall we were very pleased with this pasta.

Test Kitchen #2 Review:

Our second test kitchen tested Dr. Schar’s Spaghetti. We were very delighted to find this pasta and discover the amazing similarity between traditional ‘gluten’ spaghetti and this gluten-free wonder. In it’s dry form it looks exactly like ‘spaghetti’ in color and texture. We cooked it according to package directions (11 minutes) and it came out perfectly al dente. We drained it and made a delightful baked spaghetti. The resulting texture and taste was perfect.
