Ingredients:
Elbow macaroni - rice flour and brown flour extract. Cheese sauce
— Wisconsin cheddar cheese, milk, salt & enzymes, dried
buttermilk.
Since
Mac-n-cheese from a box is an all-time American favorite of most
of our kids, and some adults as well, we thought it would be well
worth the effort to test Deboles Macaroni and cheese. I knew that
the proof would be in the pudding when I served it to the most
critical audience in our household…our children. Here is
my son’s evaluation:
 "The
noodles are good and cheesy. I really like it and think other
kids will like it too!" (Hunter, age 5)
This
particular product is slightly different from the Kraft version,
primarily because it is aged white cheddar cheese versus the nearly
neon-orange color of the most common gluten varieties.
Helpful
tip: To make this mac-n-cheese a little tastier, make sure
you season it to taste with a pinch or two of kosher salt.

It’s difficult to not compare this product to the gluten boxed varieties, however, if you take it for what it is, it is actually pretty good….slightly different, but good nonetheless. |

Since the noodles are made from rice, avoid overcooking them or they will turn to mush. The white cheese over the white noodles creates a bland overall appearance. |

This is a boxed, dry product that will last for quite some time in your pantry. We reheated it the next day and prefer the macaroni and cheese the day it is made. |

We liked this product because it fills the need for a quick mac-n-cheese product that my son so missed. As an adult with a more developed palate, I would prefer to make macaroni and cheese the old fashioned way. But, what do I know — as I said, the true test comes from the mouth of babes and they seem to really like it!
