Layered Bean Dip

Ingredients

1-1/2 16-ounce cans gf refried beans
1-3/4 teaspoons chili powder
2 ripe avocados
1 Tablespoon lime juice
1/3 cup gf Pico de Gallo
1 teaspoon garlic, minced

2 cups grated cheddar cheese (about 8 ounces)
4 large tomatoes, diced
3/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/2 cups sour cream
2/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
GF corn tortilla chips
Directions
In a medium bowl, blend beans and chili powder.

Mix avocado, lime juice, gf Pico de Gallo and garlic in another medium bowl. Adjust seasonings to taste with salt and pepper.

Spread half of bean mixture in bottom of 8-cup bowl. Add in layers: (1)1 cup cheese, (2)guacamole mixture, (3)half of tomatoes, (4)green onions,(5)remaining bean mixture. Mix sour cream to loosen, then spread over bean mixture, covering completely. Arrange cilantro, remaining cheese, and remaining drained tomato in a concentric pattern. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Tips
This appetizer is not difficult as long as you prep the ingredients before hand.
