Directions
In a bowl, whisk together the 5 spice powder, ginger, garlic, vegetable oil, gf soy sauce, honey, hot red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Place the chicken wings in a large zip lock bag. Pour the mixture over the chicken wings. Seal the bag and turn the chicken wings to coat evenly with the mixture. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Remove the chicken wings from the bag and discard the marinade. Prepare a grill. Grill the chicken wings, over medium high heat, for about 4 minutes per side or until cooked through. Remove the chicken wings from the grill. Tent with foil and let the wings rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with scallions and serve.
