1 Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced into thin wedges 1/3 cup creme fraiche 1 teaspoon horseradish Salt and freshly ground black pepper 4 oz. gf smoked trout Italian parsley for garnish
Slice the green apples and lay on serving platter in a single layer. In a small bowl, mix the creme fraiche with the horseradish and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Dollop 1/4 teaspoon of creme fraich sauce on top of the green apple slices. Top with a small piece of smoked trout and garnish with Italian parsley. Serve immediately.
This is a great appetizer that can be put together in a hurry.
