Ingredients
16 chicken wings 1/4 cup gf soy sauce 3 Tablespoons honey 1/4 cup gf hoisin sauce Grated zest and juice of 1 orange 4 garlic cloves, minced 2-1/2 Tablespoons ginger, minced 1 Tablespoon gf stone-ground mustard Dash cayenne pepper Salt and freshly ground black pepper 1/8 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
Directions
Remove wing tips and discard. Separate wings at joint.
In a large bowl mix remaining ingredients. Add wings and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Remove wings from marinade and place them on a rack in a large roasting pan. Bake for 15 minutes, then turn and brush with remaining marinade.
Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees F. Continue to bake for 10 minutes more or until brown and crisp. Turn, brush with marinade and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve at room temperature.
