1 pound medium raw shimp in shells 3 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed 1/2 onion, chopped 2 Tablespoons parsley, chopped 1/4 cup dry white wine 1/4 cup olive oil Juice of one lemon Salt and fresh ground pepper
Shell and devein shrimp.
Heat a heavy skillet over medium heat. Add oil; when hot, add onions. Saute until golden; add garlic, cook for 1 minute. Increase heat to high and add shrimp. Cook and toss until shrimp turn pink. Add 1 tablespoon parsley, wine, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Cook and stir for 1-2 more minutes. Sprinkle with remaining parsley and serve immediately
