Korean BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces
1/2 cup gf soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon sugar
4 scallions, choppped
6 garlic cloves, chopped
Directions
Place the chicken pieces in a large zip lock bag.

In a large glass measure combine the gf soy sauce, water, vegetable oil, sugar, scallions and garlic. Stir to blend. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Seal the bag and turn to coat the chicken with the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

Prepare a grill. Grill over medium flame for 10 minutes, turn and grill for 10 minutes more. Turn again and grill for a final 10 minutes. Baste with sauce every 5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the grill and tent loosely with foil. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
