Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Cut into 8 pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Place the chicken in a shallow roasting pan or baking dish and brush with two-thirds of the sauce on both sides. Bake for 20 minutes. Using tongs, turn chicken and baste with remaining sauce. Bake an additional 25 minutes until done, or until juices run clear when pricked.
