1 cup butter 6 green onions, minced 3/4 cup orzo 3/4 cup basmati rice 3 cups gf chicken broth Salt and pepper
Directions
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and saute until translucent. Add orzo and stir until golden. Add rice and stir until rice begins to turn opaque, about 2 minutes. Add broth and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 30 minutes.
Tips
This recipe calls for a lot of butter, but the result is a delicious, rich, browned pilaf.
