Oriental Cabbage & Almond Salad

Ingredients
For salad:
1/2 head green cabbage, chopped
3 scallions, chopped
3 Tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1 Tablespoon oriental Seasoning
For dressing:
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
In a large bowl mix cabbage and onions together.
In a small bowl mix almonds and sesame seeds together.
Just before serving, mix dressing with cabbage mixture until well blended then mix in almonds and sesame. Serve.
Tips
Oriental Seasoning is a blend of spices frequently used in oriental cooking. You can find this blend in some grocery stores or in Asian markets.

This salad is delicious! My 5 year old celiac daughter willingly eats it and everyone I’ve ever served it to,(GF and non GF eaters alike) absolutely loves it and asks for the recipe. Very tasty!!!
