Ingredients
2 onions, chopped 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil 4-6 tomatillos, chopped One 4 ounce can chopped green chilis 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 Tablespoon dried oregano leaves 1 cup gf chicken broth 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced Salt to taste
Directions
In a medium saucepan heat oil over medium-high heat and cook onions until tender. Add tomatillos, chilis, garlic and oregano. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Transfer to a food processor and process until smooth.
Return mixture to pan and add chicken broth. Heat to boiling and reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer until sauce has reduced to desired consistancy.
