Makes about 2 cups Difficulty
1 pound fresh raspberries 1/3 cup gf brown sugar 1/3 cup port wine 2 teaspoons orange zest Juice from 1 orange 2 teaspoons lemon zest Juice from 1 lemon 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or more to taste) 2 teaspoons ginger, grated
PIn a small saucepan combine all ingredients and cook over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until berries begin to burst.
Remove from heat, adjust seasonings and refrigerate until ready to use.
