Makes about 2 cups Difficulty
1 cup sugar 1 bottle (750 milliliter) bottle port or sweet marsala wine 1 cup fresh cranberries 1 cup fresh blueberries 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 Tablespoon orange juice concentrate
In a small heavy saucepan, combine sugar and wine. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries and blueberries, orange juice, and garlic reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer until liquid is reduced to 3 cups. Press the solids through a sieve and discard.
