Makes about 1 cup Difficulty
3/4 cup vegetable or canola oil 1 egg 1 teaspoon lemon juice 2 Tablespoons ketsup 1 Tablespoon capers, drained 1 Tablespoon anchovie paste Salt and pepper to taste
Combine egg, lemon juice, and ketsup and anchovie paste in a food processor and process until blended. With machine running, pour oil through feed tube in a thin stream. Mayonnaise will thicken as the oil is added. Transfer to a bowl and stir in capers and salt and pepper to taste.
