Ingredients
6 ounces tomatillos 1 cup cilantro leaves 1 jalapeno pepper, stemmed and seeded Pinch of salt
Directions
Remove papery skin from tomatillos, rinse and place in a saucepan. Add water to cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. (Tomatillos should be soft to the touch).
Using a food processor, puree tomatillos with 1/4 cup of cooking liquid, cilantro, jalapeno and salt.
