1-1/2 cups fresh pineapple, diced 1/2 red onion, diced 1/4 cup cilantro, minced 3/4 cup ripe tomato, diced 1/2-1 jalapeno, minced (increase amount if more heat is desired) Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Allow salsa to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes - this will give the flavors time to blend.
