Ingredients
1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed and cut diagonally into 2" pieces 2 carrots, cut into long diagonal slices 1-1/2 Tablespoons unsalted butter Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
In a large saucepan bring salted water to a boil. Add carrots and simmer until carrots are just tender. Add asparagus and simmer for 4-5 minutes or until asparagus is just tender. Drain.
Melt butter in pan and return vegetables to pan. Toss until vegetables y are nicely coated with butter. Adjust seasonings to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
