2 large sweet onions or 4 small 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste 1/3 cup gf chicken stock
Trim the onions and cut into 8 wedges. Melt butter in a large skillet then add onions. Toss in butter to coat all over. Season with salt and pepper. Add stock, cover and cook onions over low heat for about 5-8 minutes or until they are tender. Remove the cover and continue to cook, reducing the liquid so that it becomes a glaze that coats the onions. Adjust seasonings and serve immediately.
