Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon oil. When hot, add onions and garlic and cook until onions are translucent. Remove to a medium bowl and add turkey, egg, parmesan cheese, tomato paste, basil, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well and form into 1" balls.
Heat a large pot of salted, boiling water and cook pasta according to package instructions.
Place corn meal on a plate and roll each meat ball in corn meal to coat.
Heat 2 Tablespoons oil in skillet and fry meat balls until browned on all sides, about 20 minutes.
