1/2 pound ground beef 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese Salt
Make 2-4 hamburger patties and press them flat. Add 1 slice of cheese to each pattie and fold sides in to cover the cheese. Reshape into thicker patties. Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the patties with salt, on both sides. When hot, add the patties and brown on both sides, cooking until done.
