Ham & Cheese Casserole

Ingredients

1 garlic clove, minced
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
2 cups uncooked gf macaroni
3/4 cup gf ricotta cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated, divided
1/2 cup cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Sauté the garlic and green onions in melted butter over medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until soft.

Cook gf macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine garlic and onions with pasta, ricotta, 1/4 cup parmesan and milk. Adjust seasonings to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Place macaroni mixture in a buttered casserole dish. Top with remaining parmesan cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Directions say to add milk, but it isn’t in the Ingredients list.

This recipe is definitely comfort food, or could be comfort food, except I failed to notice that my ricotta cheese had modified food starch in it...

By ”milk” do you mean cream? Where’s the ham???

This was very good - I liked the parmesan cheese flavor. It was a bit dry though so next time I’ll add a bit more liquid.
