Roasted Orange Chicken

Ingredients

1 chicken, washed and rinsed
Olive oil
1 small onion, cut into wedges
4 garlic cloves, peeled
Sliced orange peels from 1 orange
Salt and pepper
Juice from 1 orange
1 Tablespoon gf soy sauce
2 Tablespoons honey
1 garlic clove, minced
A pinch of ground cloves
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Rub chicken all over with oil and season with salt and pepper inside and out. Stuff chicken with onion, garlic cloves and orange peel.

Place chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to
350 degrees F and continue to roast for
1 hour and 15 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic and cloves. When chicken is 1 hour from done, begin basting with sauce every 15 minutes.

Transfer chicken from oven, carve and serve.
