Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place a teaspoon of oil on a jellyroll pan and spread over bottom with a paper towel.
Peel and thinly slice potatoes - to about 1/16th of an inch.
Place potato slices on oiled jellyroll pan, in a single layer, spraying potatoes lightly with vegetable oil.
Bake for 20 minutes. Check chips and remove any that are golden brown all over. Place remaining chips back in oven and check on them every few minutes. When chips are done, sprinkle with salt.
