2 ounces semi-sweet gf chocolate 2 Tablespoons Earth Balance butter 2 cups gf packed brown sugar 1/2 cup Silk soy creamer 1 Tablespoon amaretto 4 firm pears, peeled, halved and cored 1/2 cup toasted, chopped pecans
Place chocolate and Earth Balance butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water; stirring until melted. Stir in brown sugar and soy creamer and continue to cook until blended and smooth. Stir in liqueur and remove from heat.
Prepare a grill.
Grill pears, cut-side down until tender and grill marked, about 10 minutes.
To serve: Place a pear on individual dessert plates and decoratively drizzle chocolate sauce over pear. Sprinkle with nuts and serve.
To toast pecans: Place pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat and toast for about 5 minutes or until they begin to brown.
