1-1/2 cups water 3/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons grated lime rind 1/2 cup fresh lime juice 2 Tablespoons tequila
Add water and sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a boil, dissolving the sugar. Remove from heat and add lime rind, juice and tequila. Let cool, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill. When liquid is cold transfer to an ice cream maker and process for 25-30 minutes. Store in freezer.
