Perfect Biscuits

Ingredients

3 eggs
3/4 cup milk
3 cups flour
4-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
12 Tablespoons unsalted, softened butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

In a small bowl, beat eggs together with milk; set aside.

In a separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients.

Cut butter into dry ingredients until it resembles small peas. Add wet ingredients and mix just until blended; do not overmix. Dough will be sticky.

Turn out onto a floured surface and dust top of dough with flour. Pat dough to a
1" thickness and cut into 2-1/2" rounds.

Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet with biscuits barely touching and bake for 15 minutes.

These biscuits are an amaziing gluten-free wonder! Beautiful, light and fluffy, you won’t believe they’re gluten-free!

You can also cut this recipe in half. The biscuits are not as good the next day.

You can taste the egg a little too much, but the texture is wonderful.

These were so close to regular biscuits, I had a really hard time telling the difference. I liken them to hardees.

I forgot to add that I halved this and used 2 eggs.
