1 gf French bread baguette 3 Tablespoons fresh tarragon, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest Drops of lemon juice 8 Tablespoons butter, at room temperature Freshly ground pepper to taste
In a bowl combine tarragon, minced garlic, lemon zest, juice, butter and pepper; stir until light.
Preheat broiler to high heat.
Cut baguette on diagonal to 1/2" slices. Spread tarragon butter mixture on bread slices and place slices on a baking sheet. Place under broiler and broil until golden brown, turn and brown other side. Watch closely, as bread will burn easily. Serve.
