Chocolate Chili Cups

Ingredients

8 ounces semi-sweet gf chocolate
1/2 cup espresso
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 teaspoons ground hot chili
1/2 cup gf sour cream
Directions
Place chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and chili in the top of a double boiler over a pan of simmering water and slowly blend and melt chocolate. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Blend in sour cream until completely incorporated. Pour into small cups and refrigerate.

Whew! I love chocolate and this is wonderful but it cannot be served as suggested in a demi-tasse. I made enough for 12 guests and ended up serving a fraction of it with biscotti. It is incredibly rich. Better idea: Make half a batch and use it to flavor coffee or hot chocolate. The guests ate about a tablespoon per serving.

Creative thought! You could bring this dessert as a gift placed in beautiful mugs or espresso cups. Your hostess will have a lovely gift and a memory to serve to guests long after dessert was enjoyed.
