Cantaloupe & Blackberries w/Almond Cream

Ingredients
1 cantaloupe, cut into 4 wedges
1 cup fresh blackberries, washed and drained
1-3/4 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon gf almond extract
1/3 cup sugar
4 large egg yolks
Directions
In a medium saucepan combine milk and almond extract. Cook over medium-low heat about
6 minutes. Do not boil. Remove from heat.
In a small boel whisk together sugar and yolks until blended. Gradually add milk mixture to bowl, stirring constantly.
Return mixture to pan. Cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until mixture is slightly thick, about the consistancy of heavy cream.
Immediately pour mixture into a bowl, cover and chill.
Place a cantaloupe wedge in each of 4 bowls and top with 1/4 cup blackberries. Pour a small amount of cream sauce over fruit. Serve.
