Chocolate Creme Brulee with Carmelized Bananas

Ingredients

1/2 cup plus 2 Tablespoons milk
1-1/2 cups cream
5 egg yolks
3-1/2 ounces semisweet gf chocolate, chopped into small pieces
1/3 cup plus 1 Tablespoon gf brown sugar, packed
1-2 bananas, sliced
Gf brown sugar for topping
Directions
Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
In a heavy saucepan, combine milk and cream and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in chocolate, remove from heat and stir until chocolate melts. Let sit.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and brown sugar. Slowly pour in the chocolate mixture, whisking continually until well blended. Let cool. Pour into 6 ramekins. Set the ramekins in a baking dish and pour water in the dish to halfway up the sides of the ramekins. Bake for 45 minutes, or until set. Remove ramekins from the baking dish and let cool.
Just before serving, decorate each rameking with banana slices and sprinke with brown sugar. Place under a broiler, or brown with a torch until sugar melts and turns brown. Be careful not to let it burn. Serve immediately.
