3 cups fresh blackberries 3 cups fresh blueberries, can be made with frozen berries; let them thaw and drain before using 1/3 cup sugar 2 Tablespoons corn starch 1 Tablespoon lemon juice ½ teaspoon cinnamon 1 cup gf flour mix 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon lemon zest 1-1/4 cup cream 2 Tablespoons sugar ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Add the berries, 1/3 cup sugar, corn starch, lemon juice and ½ teaspoon cinnamon to a medium bowl and toss with a spoon to combine. Transfer berry mixture to a 9” glass pie dish. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and lemon zest. Add cream and stir until mixture is a wet dough. Drop spoonfuls onto berry mixture as thinly as possible. Combine 2 Tablespoons sugar and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl and blend together. Sprinkle over top of cobbler. When still warm, serve Black & Blue Cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
