1 package gf linguini 4 oz. of bottled clam juice 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes 1 14-3/4 oz. can tomato purée 1 handful chopped fresh basil 1 handful chopped fresh oregano 1 clove garlic, minced 1 handful chopped fresh Italian parsley 1 cup whipping cream 1/2 pound cooked small (salad) shrimp
Add clam juice to large saucepan and bring to a boil and reduce heat slightly. Add chopped herbs, garlic, tomatoes, and tomato purée and simmer 15 to 20 minutes on very low heat, stirring often. Add a little red wine if available. Add whipping cream and cook until well incorporated. Add shrimp at the last minute and just heat through (Anymore than a minute and you will over-cook the shrimp). Serve over cooked pasta.
