In a small dish, combine 1/2 cup juice, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Marinate salmon 1 hour in refrigerator. Heat broiler. Coat broiler rack with olive oil. Place salmon on rack on broiler pan (reserve marinating liquid for sauce). Cook 5" to 6" from heat source, allowing about 4 minutes per side, or until just cooked through. Don’t overcook. Meanwhile, whisk cornstarch into remaining 1/4-cup pineapple juice; add this along with marinating liquid to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat 5 minutes, until sauce thickens. Serve sauce over salmon. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
