12 large shrimp, shelled and deveined Oil for grill 1/2 lemon Garlic Lemon Mayonnaise for spreading
For Garlic Lemon Mayonnaise: 1 egg Juice of 1 lemon 1 clove garlic, peeled Salt and pepper to taste 1 cup vegetable oil
For Garlic Lemon Mayonnaise: Using a food proccesor blend all ingredients, except oil. Add oil in a steady stream through a feed tube until all the oil has been incorporated and the mayonnaise is thick. Adjust seasonings. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Heat a grill on high heat. When hot, add enough oil to coat grill. Place shrimp on grill and let cook for 1 minute. Squeeze lemon over shrimp. Turn shrimp over and spead a layer of Garlic Lemon Mayonnaise over shrimp. Cook for 1 more minute and remove to serving plates.
